Police in slotxo Middlesbrough have fined the parents of two youths for anti-social behaviour and breaking Covid restrictions.

The parents had been warned by neighbourhood officers that their children, aged 12 and 16-years-old, had breached regulations in the Brambles Farm and Netherfields areas.

Inspector Vas Khan, from Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Team, said: “We would like to ask parents, please speak with your children and explain the risks to themselves, their friends, their family and anyone they may come into contact with.

"Where we identify youths involved in this kind of behaviour, we will take action to stop it.?"
